A new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report on female genital mutilation/cutting in the United States was released in January 2016, providing additional information on women and girls at risk.
Leyla Hussein is a Psychotherapist, she has been awarded Cosmopolitan Ultimate campaigner Women of the Year Award 2010 and currently received Emma Humphrey Award on her work on FGM and violence against women/children.
